Episode 5: Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon

Leftover Salmon has been touring to faithful hordes of fans for thirty years! Our guest Andy Thorn has been on a third of that incredible journey. To celebrate thirty years of touring and recording, the legendary band is throwing a party at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. Boogie at the Broadmoor boasts an incredible lineup including Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sam Bush, and so much more.

Andy and I talk about his own creative process, that of the band’s, Boogie at the Broadmoor, and why Leftover Salmon would fit right in on a European tour.

Amy McCarley splashes into The Marinade! Amy is a singer, songwriter, guitar player, and all around bad ass who has just released a wonderful record called MECO. We talk about the process that led to MECO’s creation, how Amy gave up her job as a NASA contractor to pursue music full time, and why Jason Earle needs to tighten up and finally play an open mic!

Episode 2: Greg Hughes of Bobby's Oar

Greg Hughes is a singer and songwriter based in Seattle, WA, who records under the name Bobby’s Oar. We caught up at Lil’ Indies in Orlando, FL, ahead of Greg’s pre-Fest set. Greg and I talked about his creative process and he turned the tables a bit to ask me some questions about my own.

You can find Greg’s music wherever you download or stream or at his Bandcamp site: https://bobbysoar.bandcamp.com/
