This is Episode 121 and our guest is Colin Halliburton. Colin is the lead singer and principal songwriter for the Kansas-based band The Roseline. In the fall of 2022 The Roseline released two wonderful singles, “Hot Dice” and “Saber Rattlers.” Their latest full length record Constancy was one of my favorite albums of 2021 and it remains my go-to album whenever an open road presents itself.
We caught up with Colin via Zoom recently for a wide-ranging conversation about the fortuitous way his music came into my life, the magic of melody, The Roseline’s excellent new releases, and so much more.
