John Medeski is nothing short of a legend. He broke down barriers as one third of the revolutionary jazz trio Medeski, Martin, and Wood, bridged gaps as part of The Word with North Mississippi All Stars and Robert Randolph, and worked with luminaries in music across genre. Medeski, Martin, and Wood
Medeski’s latest project is Saint Disruption, a collaboration with musician, scientist, and folk healer Jeff Firewalker Schmitt. Schmitt and Medeski first met in the Amazon jungle where Medeski was seeking relief from debilitating cluster headaches. Saint Disruption’s debut album Rose in the Oblivion was released on April 8, 2021 and their latest release, a cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” featuring Warren Haynes on guitar just dropped.
