This is Episode 147 and our guest is Bella White. Bella is a singer and songwriter who grew up in Calgary, Canada. Her outstanding debut record Just Like Leaving introduced her to the world. Her follow up which is called Among Other Things is one of my favorites of the year.
I got to catch up with Bella at her hotel the night after she played with Band of Horses at the House of Blues just outside of Orlando, FL. You’ll hear tourists boarding buses to Disney next to where we were sitting on a gorgeous Florida morning. We talked about her musical education being Berklee adjacent, her tour with Band of Horses, whether we’re more Animal Kingdom or Epcot, and so much more.
